
TRAINING EQUIPMENT
The question always comes up on what kind of equipment is needed for a great workout. Some people have fully stacked gyms in their houses, while others don’t have any equipment.
As a Personal trainer, I use a wide variety of equipment to help my clients achieve their fitness goals. Some of the more common pieces of equipment I like to incorporate into the workouts include body-weight movement, free weights (I love dumbbells), resistance bands and stability balls. For cardio and warm-ups, machines such as treadmills, stationary bikes and rowers are great when available.
One of my favourite go-to tools is the TRX suspension trainer. I love it for its versatility, and you can do a full body workout using it, anywhere. Any person can use it safely, whether you are a beginner or advanced athlete. I am a certified TRX training specialist and will coach you on how to safely reap the benefits of suspension training with great emphasis on core stability and development.
The specific type of equipment will depend on your goals, fitness level, and preferences. I will guide you and demonstrate how to use the equipment safely and effectively. I place a great deal of emphasis on making sure you have proper form so that you can maximize your results and avoid injury. By utilizing a diverse range of equipment, I will keep your workouts interesting, challenging, effective and FUN.
